The Altamonte Sparklers are a group of more than 60 male and female cheerleaders with special needs who have been training and competing since 2005. Together the group has attended numerous community events and over 6 cheerleading competitions. They are run by the support of the City of Altamonte Springs , volunteer coaches, and generous donors. Athletes range in ages, beginning at age 6 up to age 60. They are divided into different performance squads and each group prepares for local competitions, performances, parades, and other community events.

The Advisory Board for the Disabled is aware that often children with disabilities can not enjoy the simple pleasure of going to a playground with friends and family due to physical obstacles. We want to correct this with your help by constructing a Boundless Playground at Eastmonte Park in Altamonte Springs, the home of our Special Needs Programs.
This Playground will ensure that all children can reach the highest platform, travel across universally accessible pathways and surfaces, offer elevated activity panels where children of all abilities can play together, and enjoy sensory-rich activities that let the imaginations soar!
You can be a hero to these children with disabilities by taking part in this exciting fundraiser.

The crayons with the advertising for the local businesses have started to fill the fence around Eastmonte Park, but there is is a lot more fence to cover. Our goal is to surround the Park with the colorful crayons. You can help by sponsoring one or more of the crayons with your business name, logo, phone number, in memory of or other advertising to be placed on the crayon. The cost is $100.00 per crayon and it will stay up for one year. You only need to provide $100.00 and your logo or whatever you would like printed on the crayon and we will take care of the rest. You will be notified when your crayon is installed and will receive a photo and letter of thanks for your support.
