Financial Assistance
Upon application and approval of the application the Advisory Board will provide financial assistance to members of the disabled population. Medical Equipment, repairs to existing equipment, and whatever they are in need of to assist them to achieve a better quality of life.
Maximum benefit per person per year:
Utilities and Rent: $100.00
Medical: $100.00
Food Pantry
The Advisory Board for the Disabled, Inc. provides food assistance to individuals and families in need. Appointments for food donations can be made once a month. Please contact Vinnie Coon to schedule your food pick up at 407-571-8812. Pantry is open Monday-Thursday.
Inter-Agency Cooperation
The Advisory Board for the Disabled, Inc. will cooperate with other agencies within the Central Florida area to provide assistance for the disabled who have needs greater than any one agency can assist with.
Fund-Raisers
At various times throughout the year the Advisory Board will hold fund raising events such as Spaghetti Dinners, Garage Sales, Charity Challenge Participation, and other types of events that will help to raise funds to allow them to continue their work throughout our local communities.
