dances are held one Friday per month from 7-9pm at
Eastmonte Park.
Refreshments are provided.

per participant and $1 per companion/family

Trips take place one Saturday a month and are
socially, physically and educationally beneficial
field trips. Cost: $3 per person with lunch

Congratulations
to the 55 Sparklers who took part in the JamFest
Fun Jam in Kissimmee. The
cheerleaders did a wonderful job at their first
competition of this season.

Their
final competition will be at the CheerSport Grand
Championship in Jacksonville Florida on April
10-11, 2010. Best of Luck to all the athletes!

proud to host the Special Needs Ballroom Dance
Part 2, taught by instructor Dale Wenner. This
season we have twenty-two dancers with special
needs and a large bundle of volunteers.

Altamonte AMF Lanes from 3-5pm. Cost is
$1.75/game. Scores are recorded throughout the
year and trophies are awarded at the Banquet with
participant's high

"Thursday
Night Outs" are held on Thursday evenings,
excluding the 1st Thursday of the month. They are
designed to allow participants to get together and
just have some fun! Events are held at Westmonte Park and
time has changed to
7:30-8:30pm. Cost:
$1.00 with refreshments.

Sports and Programs along with Fleet Feet Sports
are hosting the Second Annual "No Boundaries 5K
Race and Walk" on Saturday, April 10, 2010, 7:30am
at the Eastmonte Recreation
Center.
This
event is for people of all ages and abilities.
Proceeds will go to the Advisory Board for the
Disabled to help complete the second phase of the
"Boundless Playground" at Eastmonte Recreation
Center.
We
invite you to participate in this event to help
raise awareness of the obstacles that children
with disabilities face and to raise funds for the
expansion of the "Boundless Playground".

HEALTH PRESENTATION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL
NEEDS |

TOPIC:
"Natural health Alternatives for Children with
Special Needs and an introduction on how Quantum
Laser Neurology and Nutrition can help your
children."

volunteer for the Foundation for Wellness
Professionals, a national non-profit foundation
dedicated to educating the public about various
wellness topics for children and
adult.
There
is NO-Charge for this talk which will last
approximately one hour from 7pm to 8pm on April
14, 2010 at Eastmonte Park,
Meeting Room One.
He
will be discussing the current use of low level
laser technology for enhancing brain function for
Autistic children and children with special needs.
In addition, discuss safe methods of assessing
children for toxicities, food issues and
alternatives to correct these issues, naturally
using homotoxicology other current state of the
art nutritional alternatives. Parents will
leave the discussion with a foundation of
knowledge that may help improve their children's
overall functioning.

BUDDY
BALL FIELD DEDICATION DAY |

The Buddy Ball Field dedication will
be April 17 at 9:00am at Eastmonte Park. The
ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes
followed by a game starting at approximately
9:45am. Concessions will be on hand along with
entertainment, caricature artist and face painter.

provides FREE opportunities for children ages 5-12
with special needs to participate in fitness
activities while interacting with others. For more

BUDDY BALL
This division encompasses players ages 5-20 who
are either physically and/or mentally challenged.
This division makes allowance for a "buddy" to
help the player swing a bat, round the bases,
